Attending the City Snow Holiday Parade at Ybor City this weekend? Stop by the Center for Architecture and Design from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the first ever 'Color Tampa Bay'– children of all ages welcome. Kids will have the opportunity to color iconic buildings from all around the Bay Area. Snacks and balloons available too! 

Parents will get the chance to browse the 2018 Holiday Shop packed with work from dozens of local artists, all under $100.

This event is free to all who attend!

The AIA Tampa Bay Women in Architecture Committee will also hold their kick-off event, Archtoberfest, featuring AIA Florida President, Kim Headland, AIA who will present Unfinished Business: Lessons learned from my adventures as a mid-career, sometimes-architect.

Tampa Bay Foundation for Architecture & Design & The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) presented the annual 2018 Architectural Photography Contest. The Center for Architecture and Design is hosting this special exhibit showcasing the work of local professional and amateur photographers; visit us and experience architecture through the lenses of these talented group.

Visit AIA Tampa Bay Behance  to cast your votes for your favorite In Tampa Bay Architecture 2018 Design Awards Submissions! 

Vote by liking your favorite project’s Behance page (Thumbs Up at the Bottom of the Page) from October 1st through the 31st. The winner will be announced at Celebrate Design on November 2nd. Just as a reminder: Only one vote per IP address. To vote multiple times please do so from different devices/ wifi networks.

Winner will be announced on November 2nd at the Celebrate Design Awards Ceremony.

Terrains: Architecture in Relation to Nature, Borders and More

Join us on Friday, July 27th from 5:30 to 7:30 @ GalleryAIA 1315 E 7th Ave Suite 105 for our Fourth Friday featured exhibit-- Terrains. A show about architectures relationship with nature, artificial landscapes, and borders.

Visitors can make a voluntary ‘pay-as-you-will’ donation to support the Tampa Bay Foundation for Architecture and Design.
