Bruce Houghton
Ranon & Partners, Architects (Retired)

Bruce Houghton is a graduate of the Washington University School of Architecture in St. Louis. After two years in the Peace Corps and three years as an intern architect in New York, Bruce won the Steedman Traveling Fellowship to study contemporary architecture for a year in Europe. in 1973, he joined Ranon & Partners, Architects in Tampa where Bruce was architect of record for numerous institutional and civic buildings throughout the West Coast of Florida. Upon retiring in 2013, Bruce continued his lifelong involvement with the arts by taking up Fused Glass at the Morean Arts Center under Val and Jack Beatty.

Bruce Houghton has exhibited in New Jersey, St. Louis and recently at the Largo and Clearwater Libraries, St. Petersburg Morean Art Center, the Noho Gallery in New York, and the Tampa-Hillsborough Public Library.
